      "content": "\n<li>Responsible for providing group and individual sessions and related rehabilitative treatment services to substance abuse clients in a residential setting.</li>\n"

      "text": "What You Will Do:",
      "content": "\n<li>Under supervision, participates in the provision of individual or group sessions with residents. Learns to serve as a client advocate.</li>\n<li>Participates in staffing.</li>\n<li>Interacts with clients' families and referral agencies.</li>\n<li>Learns to evaluate emergencies and take appropriate action.</li>\n<li>Learns to compile and evaluate comprehensive social, legal, and personal histories of clients.</li>\n<li>Learns to maintain accurate and timely client records of a confidential nature.</li>\n<li>Participates significantly with clients in the determination of short and long-term client goals and treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Attends selected in-service workshops and seminars.</li>\n<li>Prepares reports as assigned.</li>\n<li>May appear in court with the client.</li>\n<li>Participates in the maintenance and care of the physical environment along with clients.</li>\n<li>Participates in community building activities, as appropriate to the position.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n"

      "content": "\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent GED</li>\n<li>Minimal knowledge of contemporary substance abuse treatment practices in a residential setting.</li>\n<li>Good understanding of human emotions.</li>\n<li>Understanding of causes, symptoms, and effects of substance abuse and behavioral health problems.</li>\n<li>Ability to relate to clients effectively.</li>\n<li>Some knowledge of counseling and therapy practices.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectively under pressure generated through association with substance abuse clients.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates proper attitude and techniques to residential clients.</li>\n"
