Programs in development support the US Air Force, along with many other US and Foreign customers.</li><li>In this role, the successful candidate will lead a team of System Safety engineers to develop, manage, and execute System Safety Programs in accordance with military and/or commercial standards</li><li>Act as primary contact for System Safety engineering activities for assigned platforms and contracts.</li><li>Devises new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems.</li><li>Communicate and clearly present system safety findings, issues, and solutions to various levels of internal and external technical and management stakeholders.</li><li>Provide system safety support for the design assurance processes, and other related milestones such as PDRs and CDRs.</li><li>Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements.</li><li>Participate in the preparation of proposals, proposal work statements, basis of estimates, and specifications</li><li>Ensure technical leadership and excellence is maintained by participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required professional and technical talent.</li><li>Support the Earned Value process and ensure the team is executing within&nbsp;budget and meeting schedule requirements</li><li>Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
