    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The TIE Engineer 1 will be an integral part of our Industrial Engineering team, working collaboratively with various departments to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role involves understanding and applying traditional TPS/IE concepts and tools to improve productivity and efficiency across the manufacturing process, from receiving products to shipment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>- Understanding and application of traditional TPS/IE concepts &amp; tools in MFG environment.<br>- Conduct time / motion studies to improve productivity for direct and indirect areas<br>- Visualize initial condition with GAPs, set targets, identify strategy and schedule to accomplish targets<br>- Study operations of sequence, including conveyance flow, routes, start triggers, and standardized work in MFG&amp; WH<br>- Production System Understanding (replenishment method, Production instruction) to pursue JIT<br>- Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization<br>- Budgetary of department expense and manpower annual planning<br>- Provide OJT training to related PR and indirect support groups on traditional TIE/TPS tools and application techniques<br>- Provide new line installation support and development of standardized work, lot size development, packaging support, PR System design, conveyance routes, as a basis for progressive kaizen</p><p>- Position requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication &amp; project management skills<br>- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Word); AutoCAD preferred<br>- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplined cross-functional team in a fast-paced work environment<br>- Ability to successfully Multitask Projects &amp; update plan vs. actual condition<br>- Willingness to work periodic overtime<br>- Possess and demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills<br>- Ability to think 'outside the box' and develop clever, unique solutions to problems<br>- Willingness to interface and collaborate with other departments to help reach overall Excellent Factory<br>- Demonstrate initiative by investigating outside own areas for given tasks and by helping others<br>- Demonstrate ownership of responsible areas through committed actions and responses<br>- Willingness to contribute opinion and feedback in various meetings and situations<br>- Possess and Demonstrate a Positive attitude and outlook<br>- Demonstrated drive to achieve results<br>- Other responsibilities as required</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>-Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical field.&nbsp;</p><p>-0-3 years of related experience in manufacturing</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
