The instructional staff will serve as student advisors and develop study plans and advisements as needed to support students&#39; academic progress. Instructional staff will report directly to the Program Director and work as a team to meet the needs of students, the program, and the campus.</span></span><h1 style='margin-top:3.75pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;margin-left:6.0pt;text-align:justify;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;text-decoration:underline;'><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Required Qualifications:</span></h1><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">The Clinical Coordinator must possess an Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Surgical Technology.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Must be a certified surgical technologist (CST) by a national credentialing organization, NBSTSA&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">The clinical instructor must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years</li></ul><p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Work Experience:</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">The clinical instructor must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the operating room scrub role, as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications:</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Certification (NBSTSA, CST, or Other Surgical Technology Certification)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Copy of Transcript (AA Degree or higher)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (3-4 letters)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Resume&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Special Requirements</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>NOTE:</strong> The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person assigned to this job.
