We also offer a <strong>$500-$1000</strong> annual tool reimbursement program, <strong>$200</strong> annual boot reimbursement, <strong>FREE</strong> uniforms, nationwide <strong>FREE</strong> park access and parking for yourself and a guest, season passes for family, annual complimentary park tickets for friends and family, discounts for food and merchandise, access to exclusive employee only events and more!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing park infrastructure by ensuring all wooden structures, facilities, and components are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your work will directly support ride safety, operational readiness, and overall park presentation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h4><strong>HOW YOU WILL DO IT:</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform ongoing <strong>repair, maintenance, and inspection</strong> of wooden roller coasters, including daily safety inspections</li>\n <li>Install and repair <strong>catwalks, fencing, queue lines, woodwork, and associated hardware</strong> for rides and attractions</li>\n <li>Remodel offices, buildings, and park facilities, including framing, cabinetry, shelving, doors, flooring, carpeting, and hardware installation</li>\n <li>Design and fabricate <strong>special‑purpose furniture, cabinets, and fixtures</strong> based on plans or general specifications</li>\n <li>Cut and install glass, countertops, ceramic tile, and related finishing materials</li>\n <li>Perform general building repairs, including patching, winterizing, roofing, and gutter maintenance</li>\n <li>Pour and finish concrete as required</li>\n <li>Hang and repair drop ceilings</li>\n <li>Conduct <strong>pre‑opening ride and facility safety checks</strong> and assist with equipment inspections across the park</li>\n <li>Safely operate a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment</li>\n <li>Respond to radio calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Carpentry Shop or Maintenance Leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience</strong> preferred</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Valid State Driver’s License and must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, sun, cold, rain)</li>\n <li>Ability to work at heights up to <strong>200 feet</strong></li>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and safety practices</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain written maintenance and inspection records</li>\n <li>Own basic hand tools required for the trade</li>\n <li>Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and a positive, safety‑focused attitude</li>\n <li>Willingness and availability to work <strong>varying shifts</strong>, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER NOTES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support park operations as a whole</li>\n <li>Reports directly to <strong>Maintenance Leadership</strong></li>\n</ul>",
