We’re looking for a <strong>creative, tech-forward problem solver</strong> to join us as a <strong>VDC Designer</strong>, helping bridge the gap between design and construction through cutting-edge technology and collaboration.</p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life through visualization, modeling, and digital coordination. From training project teams on new software to managing BIM models, performing drone and laser scans, and experimenting with emerging tools, you’ll play a pivotal part in helping our teams deliver smarter, more efficient projects. Together, we’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in construction as we continue to grow and take on exciting new challenges.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to a wide range of design and engineering efforts, from traditional architectural design to self-perform prefabrication and ICT support.</li>\n <li>Develop 3D and 2D construction and fabrication drawings/models, collaborating with clients and trade partners to support complex project coordination.</li>\n <li>Create compelling visualizations, graphics, animations, and renderings that enhance project understanding and help win new work.</li>\n <li>Lead BIM initiatives, uphold Danis’ standards, and develop new workflows that strengthen collaboration across teams.</li>\n <li>Advance our AR, MR, and VR capabilities while supporting our VDC Reality Capture efforts through drone and laser scanning.</li>\n <li>Mentor and train project teams, sharing VDC strategies that elevate project success and encourage continuous learning.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with producing and analyzing Reality Capture deliverables.</li>\n <li>Research and help implement industry-leading technologies, workflows, and practices to advance corporate VDC initiatives.</li>\n <li>Develop and track VDC metrics across departments and projects to measure the impact and success of various initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in <strong>Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Industrial Design, or Interior Design</strong>.</li>\n <li>3–5 years of experience with <strong>BIM/VDC initiatives and projects</strong>.</li>\n <li>Mastery in model creation to support various project phases across multiple software platforms.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of design phases and the information required to complete each successfully.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of construction workflows, production cycles, and priorities. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>High competency in design and construction software, including:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li><strong>Autodesk Revit</strong></li>\n  <li><strong>Adobe Creative Suite</strong></li>\n  <li><strong>Various rendering platforms</strong></li>\n </ul>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure.</li>\n <li>Passion for mentoring, training, and supporting project team members to help them reach their full potential.</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel to regional offices to coordinate and implement corporate VDC initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Traits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highly collaborative with a customer service mindset.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and construction risk management skills.</li>\n <li>Self-starter who is detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to change.</li>\n <li>Naturally curious and eager to learn new technologies.</li>\n <li>Innovative, forward-thinking, and excited by what’s next in construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\n<p>Most of your time will be spent in our <strong>newly remodeled open office environment</strong>, collaborating with project teams and other departments.
