Description
Position Pay: $24.31
After 6 Months:
$27.89
Must be available to work all shifts.
1st Shift - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
2nd Shift - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
3rd Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
This is a Union position that follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Primary Purpose:
Perform duties to adjust, operate, setup and troubleshoot press equipment in Department 131 (Special Mailing).
Job Description:
Setup, operate, troubleshoot and conduct quality checks for: Cutting Equipment Folding Equipment Printing Equipment Stitching Equipment Plate Making Equipment Perform daily preventative maintenance as required. Maintain 5S and a safe work environment. Perform other duties as described by Supervisor. Ability to stand 10 hours per day. Ability to work independent and as part of a team. Ability to work overtime or any shift as required. Ability to work with a computer and automated systems. Ability to work with solvents, oil, grease, ink and cleaning chemicals. Communicate effectively with team members. Work efficiently and diligently without direct supervision. Successful candidates are expected to comply with the general attendance policies. Successful candidates are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures. Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or 15 years consecutive work history within the printing industry Physical Demands:
