We seek employees who bring different and innovative ways of seeing the world and solving problems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible for performing and directing distribution function for Fred Hutch pharmacies. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a per diem role that will work a variable schedule out of our South Lake Union Campus.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare oncology-related medications and compounded pharmaceutical preparations, which include labeling and maintenance of patient records.</li>\n <li>Direct pharmacy technicians, technicians in training, interns, and assistants in all areas of technical responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Ensure that controlled substances are properly stored, dispensed, recorded, and inventoried.</li>\n <li>Monitor oncology-related medication therapy for rational use.</li>\n <li>Participate in drug utilization review data collection and assessment.</li>\n <li>Communicate with providers and patients regarding medications that have been prescribed.</li>\n <li>Know and follow all Pharmacy Department and Fred Hutch policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal laws.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy</li>\n <li>One year of experience in pharmacy practice or completion of an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited residency training program.</li>\n <li>State of Washington Pharmacist license.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited School of Pharmacy</li>\n <li>Experience with Epic Willow and Beacon Oncology Applications</li>\n <li>Experience in oncology pharmacy practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-Employment Drug Screening:</strong></p>\n<p>As a condition of employment Fred Hutch conducts pre-employment drug testing for this pharmacy role. All offers of employment in the pharmacy department are conditional on the applicant successfully completing and passing a drug test in accordance with the Fred Hutch policy.</p>\n<p>The hourly pay range for this position is from $82.58 to $137.62, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a per diem role that will work a variable schedule out of our South Lake Union Campus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees access to a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), and prorated paid holidays (up to 13 days per year).  </p>",
