Our goal is for our customers to reduce their waste stream through recycling!</em></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking to hire energetic, full-time job seekers who are willing to work in all weather conditions at Recycling Services of Florida as an Equipment Operator.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Salvage materials at industrial or commercial establishments by performing the following duties and operating a forklift in a safe, efficient manner.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Candidates must have previous experience operating a forklift, wheeled loader and skid steer.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform daily PM and inspection of equipment prior to use.&nbsp;</li><li>Capable of driving a forklift to move and load materials.</li><li>Knowledgeable in operating a bucket loader and bobcat.</li><li>Ability to sort plastic/cardboard materials from loads being dropped and clean up areas.</li><li>Recognize non-recyclables items and separate them from paper flow.</li><li>Salvage reusable materials and dispose of waste by loading onto vehicle, or by burning or bailing.</li><li>Move reusable materials to production department or storage.</li><li>Make minor repairs to scrap containers such as bumping out dents.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Must have 2-5 years’ experience as an equipment operator.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient in operating bucket loader, forklift and bobcat.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment/Physical Capabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prolonged periods standing and walking.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.</li><li>Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.</li><li>Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Bilingual a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>Each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Vol Life Insurance and STD.
