    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\"><strong>Coates Field Service, Inc.</strong></span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\"> is seeking an experienced <strong>Right of Way of Agent</strong> for day-to-day right of way duties for a pipeline project. <span style=\"font-size: 14px;\" id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">This position will report in office near <strong>Shorewood, IL.&nbsp;</strong>This<strong>&nbsp;</strong>candidate would have to periodically go into the office, candidate could reside approximately 100 miles of Shorewood, IL.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span> The successful candidate will be experienced in pipeline projects, acquiring linear right of way for private landowners, and able to adapt to tight deadlines to meet project deliverables. </span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\"><strong>Primary Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Obtains right of entry and survey permission from private landowners.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Negotiates and acquires property rights required for pipeline.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Documents all communication and correspondence with landowners including in-person meetings, email, phone, and mail.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Responds to internal and external stakeholder inquiries in matters related to property rights.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Investigates, negotiates, and acquires temporary right of way areas for driveways, construction lay down areas, and other temporary construction needs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Submits executed documents to Coates Operations office for client countersignature, payment to landowner, and recording.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Serves as legal witness as necessary for condemnation or other proceedings.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></span></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Working knowledge of drafting and negotiating property rights documents including rights-of-way, easements, leases, purchases, and sale agreements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to utilize multiple forms of technology including: Project Databases, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, etc.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to plot metes and bounds descriptions of property and read a variety of maps, electronic and paper.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to evaluate, interpret, and analyze engineering and right-of-way drawings</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to interpret and research (abstract) legal documents.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Skilled in property rights research methods, including courthouse searches for recorded documents and internet research of same.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to determine valuation of crops, timber, etc. for damage settlement.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to travel regularly.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Who We Are:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Coates has a 75-year history providing comprehensive land acquisition and right of way services to municipalities, utilities, energy providers, and oil and gas companies nationwide.
