The Manager is responsible for maintaining the knowledge to perform in a proficient and effective manner consistent with the duties of this position. It is the Safety Manager&rsquo;s responsibility to create and maintain a safety culture throughout the organization consistent with the principles and direction of the Director of Safety.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></span></p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintain and practice use of the knowledge of / to:</span></p><ul><li style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Create, Implement, and improve Safety Policies</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Oversee the Safety inspection and auditing program</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Oversee the Vehicle &amp; Workers Comp Accident Claims Process</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Oversee and maintain compliance of all aspects of Driver Qualification Files</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Design and reevaluate company Safety Policy and standards</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Evaluate current and future methods of various insurance policies</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;
