    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Why We Need Your Talents </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Steward Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff and processes to maintain overall cleanliness and organization of culinary areas and kitchen equipment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.</li>\n <li>Responsible for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget </li>\n <li>Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.</li>\n <li>Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage.</li>\n <li>Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.</li>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills You'll Need to Succeed</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read/write memos and reports.</li>\n <li>Ability to answer telephones in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask.</li>\n <li>De-escalation skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate empathy to patrons.</li>\n <li>Good customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment</li>\n <li>Ability to be always alert.</li>\n <li>Dexterity will be required to perform day to day activities and during an emergency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>A Few Must Haves</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent.</li>\n <li>Two (2) years’ experience in a hotel or high volume kitchen area.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.</li>\n <li>The team member is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.</li>\n <li>The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li>\n</ul>",
