Should be adept at or able to quickly learn and apply the core research foundation skills including accounting, finance, valuation, modeling, and proficient verbal and written communication.</p>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and discounted cash flow analysis.</li>\n <li>Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.</li>\n <li>Analyze information obtained from management in order to conceptualize and define operational problems.</li>\n <li>Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy; reformulate models as necessary.</li>\n <li>Building and updating comp sheets.</li>\n <li>Managing the databases and electronic data services (i.e. Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)</li>\n <li>Meet the special projects demands of the senior level Research Analysts.</li>\n <li>Use all resources to determine and locate relevant data.</li>\n <li>Build industry knowledge and contacts.</li>\n <li>Work both independently and collaboratively, effectively managing individual responsibilities while contributing to team-oriented research efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inductive Reasoning - The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.</li>\n <li>Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.</li>\n <li>Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.</li>\n <li>Time Management - Managing one's own time and priorities to ensure the meeting of deadlines</li>\n <li>Oral and Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in spoken or written form so that others will understand.</li>\n <li>Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Securities Analysis - Knowledge of economic, accounting, and financial principles and practices, the financial markets, the industry, the analysis and reporting of financial data, and associated terminology.</li>\n <li>Incorporate AI tools to accelerate research workflows and support written research.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education & Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree</li>\n <li>Minimum Required: 0 to 2 years of Financial Services or relevant industry experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licenses & Credentials</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum Required: None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Systems & Technology</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>Salary: USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $100,000.00/Yr. Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package for each individual employee.
