The role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations—from pediatrics to geriatrics—across neurological and orthopedic settings. A variety of diagnoses and possibility of all 3 settings served include but are not limited to communicative, cognitive, and swallowing disorders</li>\n <li>Provide Speech Therapy interventions in accordance with established standards of care, policies, procedures, and state/federal law. Interventions may be related to but not limited to communicative, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.  </li>\n <li>Supervise and complete appropriate documentation for Speech Therapy students as assigned by CCCE.</li>\n <li>Schedule Speech Therapy services according to department</li>\n <li>Complete documentation in electronic medical record in a timely manner in accordance within department and professional expectations demonstrating the need for skilled interventions. </li>\n <li>Participate in patient care conferences/staffing as appropriate for multidisciplinary patients.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 years’ experience as a Speech Therapist.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s): </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current IA and/or IL Speech Therapy licensure (or eligible). </li>\n <li>Current CPR certification. </li>\n <li>Certification of Clinical Competency issued by ASHA within 1 year of hire.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other: </strong>Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position. Working knowledge of Epic.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
