However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c) What You Will Be Doing: Detailed physical design for high voltage substations Generating single line diagrams and general arrangements Detailed Elevations and section views Assembly and installation details Detailed bills of materials, bid units and material counts Coordination with other disciplines as needed Performing site visits for data gathering Writing material procurement and construction specifications & evaluating contractor bids Reviewing shop drawings Researching equipment and client standards Performs typical calculations such as equipment and conductor sizing, grounding and lightning protection Generating engineering fee estimates Providing field support during construction Mentors and teaches less experienced engineers and design staff Occasional overnight travel may be required for client meetings and or site visits Required Qualifications: BS from and ABET accredited University 15+ years of substation physical design experience Experience working directly with clients, supporting marketing proposals/efforts preferred Experience managing a design budget and schedule preferred Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time PE license required
