This is an engineering and troubleshooting position supporting a large and diverse customer base.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">We are looking for a very personable, motivated, responsible and tech savvy individual to enhance our team. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">This position demands a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Responsibilities will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Interact with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Manage local technical projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Identify root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk for 10-12 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodation.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">To be successful; the candidate must be a self-starter and have the following traits and business characteristics:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Desire to maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Grow your job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to work successfully with limited supervision, manage high priority projects, and explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">1 to 3 years of data center infrastructure and facilities experience</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with Microsoft MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator (Active Directory)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Cisco CCENT certification</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Omni Data is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
