Description

Screen Printer I Position Summary Prints lettering and designs with screen printing device on formed or machined configuration mostly of plastic materials. Set up screen fixture to repeat during a production run.  The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. This is a 1st shift position. Principle Responsibilities Operate basic screen print table  Cleans screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors.   Examines printed object for defects.  All other duties assigned.  Set up tables and production of auto printers Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Some years related experience and/or training preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work independently and exercise judgment Strong communication skills, fluent in English  Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)  Ability to identify cosmetic defects Other Requirements Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
