We are seeking a Planner / Project Manager to support our Assembly, Fabrication, and Machining, teams. The Planner / Project Manager contributes to the organization through planning the production of manufactured items and leading diverse manufacturing projects.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Maintain manufacturing forecasts for drill rigs, tooling, sonic accessories, sonic heads, and sonic head repairs.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with manufacturing department leaders to align capacity with demand.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct analysis of &quot;what-if&quot; scenario analysis.</li></ul></div><p>Monitor demand channels to ensure timely order fulfillment.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Customer orders, service orders, transfer orders to U.S. and Italian facilities.</li></ul></div><p>Schedule production for drill rigs, sonic accessories, sonic heads, and sonic head repairs.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate production status to the organization.</li></ul></div><p>Quote manufacturing lead times for customer inquiries.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Evaluate current and planned manufacturing load.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Synchronize production activities across manufacturing departments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with purchasing personnel for raw materials and outside services.</li></ul></div><p>Project Management</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead manufacturing projects from conception through goal attainment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Projects vary in size from continuous improvement initiatives to high visibility product reengineering.</li></ul></div><p>Manage ERP work order costs for drill rigs, tooling, sonic accessories, sonic heads, and sonic head repairs.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compare material, labor, overhead, and outside service cost estimates to actual work order costs.</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate cost corrections and/or recommend review of labor standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor the accumulation of labor hours on work orders.</li></ul></div><p>Lead and/or contribute to continuous improvement projects.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow LSS principles to reduce waste, ensure quality, and improve overall performance.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience working with ERP systems in a Manufacturing environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Preference for Apics CPIM certification or willingness to gain CPIM certification.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associate&rsquo;s degree or higher in business administration or related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Two or more years in a planning, scheduling, or project management role, or</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul></div>\n",
