Love your job.</strong><br>Texas Instruments (TI) is currently looking for a service-minded and experienced <strong>Health &amp; Safety Specialist</strong> with a strong background in Construction Safety. This role will support the construction of a new 300mm factory and sustaining operations of our existing factory in Lehi, Utah. &nbsp;If you have a passion for promoting a positive safety culture and a knowledge of job site safety requirements, coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this may be the position for you!<br><br><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct interface with the project team, including participation in team meetings and construction plans</li><li>Work with site personnel to conduct Job Hazard Analysis and pre-task planning to ensure safety requirements are incorporated into the construction activities&nbsp;</li><li>Develop/approve work procedures and provide cost-effective risk reduction&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate and assess safety and health risks associated with the project and construction activities</li><li>Perform and support site audit and inspections</li><li>Monitor construction ESHS leading indicator metrics to drive improvements in the safety culture</li><li>Support root-cause analysis and incident investigation</li><li>Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections</li><li>Review contractor lift plans, confined space permits, excavation permits, hot work, energized electrical work, and LOTO procedures</li><li>Participate in site safety meetings weekly</li><li>Respond to and provide support for emergency events</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; margin: 0in;\">Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.</p>",
