Description As Lead Advisor – Strategic AI Transformation at SQUER, you are the person clients turn to when they want to fundamentally change how their organisation operates — not just to run AI experiments, but to become truly AI-native. You work directly with CIOs, CDOs, CPOs, and board-level stakeholders to shape strategy, redesign structures, and drive the kind of transformation that sticks. The impact you create here is not incremental — it's structural. Your tasks Assess clients' AI readiness, develop their AI vision and target picture, and translate both into a concrete, prioritised transformation roadmap. Design AI-native operating models — rethinking team structures, ownership, value streams, and ways of working to make organisations genuinely fit for AI. Design and drive enterprise-wide AI adoption programs — from governance setup and enablement strategies to managing resistance and scaling AI initiatives across business units. Lead change enablement programs that drive real adoption: transformation narratives, leadership coaching, and communication strategies tailored to CxO and board audiences. Facilitate high-stakes strategic workshops, including Big Picture Event Storming, AI Readiness Assessments, and AI portfolio prioritisation sessions with senior stakeholders. Shape AI governance frameworks in line with EU AI Act requirements — covering risk classification, ethics guidelines, and auditability. Identify and develop new transformation opportunities within ongoing client engagements, and help shape SQUER's advisory offering in the AI space. Your qualifications 5+ years in strategic consulting or transformation roles, with direct exposure to C-level stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CPO, or board level) — from financial services, insurance, or beyond. Comfortable in technical conversations — you understand modern software delivery, CI/CD, AI-assisted engineering, and architecture concepts. Fluent in AI — you don't just understand LLMs, Agents, RAG, and data architecture concepts, you actively use AI tools in your own work: custom workflows, agents, or automation that go well beyond ChatGPT. You translate between business and technology with confidence, without needing to build production systems yourself. You have arrived at a clear conviction: AI doesn't just change IT — it changes how entire organisations operate. You think in terms of parallel transformation across business, people, and technology, not sequential rollout. Solid command of change management frameworks such as ADKAR, and organisational design methods including Team Topologies, Value Stream Mapping, or Operating Model Design — the broader your toolkit, the better. Familiar with AI governance requirements, including the EU AI Act, risk assessment approaches, and ethics principles for AI deployment. A track record of identifying and shaping new opportunities within client relationships, and the confidence to drive these forward independently. Outstanding written and spoken communication skills in German and English — both are required.
