As an Area Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, supervising and monitoring quality assurance activities across multiple projects within a district. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) consisting of Flatiron, Dragados USA and VINCI has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project –the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The project scope across a 9 mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us. </p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees quality procedures on project sites within the District, ensuring accurate documentation, procedures, and testing of required items in the contract specifications. Develops and manages quality control plans for projects in the assigned District. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducts and prepares internal and external audit documentation and reporting to support project site quality activities and compliance. Assists in company non-conformance reports and resolutions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies risks at the project site and discrepancies during daily site walks. Documents findings, evaluations, and inspections using Company-prescribed procedures and software.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Documents, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages impact assessments to identify, assess, and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, following the direction of the environmental team and procedures. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred. </li>\n <li>8+ year related experience preferred. </li>\n <li>ASQ and/or ACI required in the US. </li>\n <li>Canadian equivalent certification preferred. </li>\n <li>Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred. </li>\n <li>Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection processes and construction procedures. </li>\n <li>Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring ability and ownership. </li>\n <li>Strong organization and communication skills. </li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $130,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $150,000.00/Yr.",
