    "description": "<p><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\"><strong>*This is a Part Time position serving our patients in Lee, Glades, and Hendry counties.</strong></span></p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Manipulates soft tissue structures of the body for the purpose of affecting the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal and nervous systems to promote physical and emotional well-being, using varying degrees of pressure and movement.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Applies the scientific principles and techniques of massage to assist patients experiencing pain, discomfort or distress while coping with end of life symptoms.</li>\n\t<li>Creates goals/interventions within the plan of care established in collaboration with the interdisciplinary teams.</li>\n\t<li>Studies and analyzes patients responses to massage and prepares reports describing symptoms indicative of progress or regression.</li>\n\t<li>Works with various agents to complement massage, including application of heat, aromatherapy, oils, lotions and range of motion.</li>\n\t<li>Completes visit assessments containing clinical data in HomeCare HomeBase at point of care and syncs back visits after completion.</li>\n\t<li>Attends interdisciplinary team meetings (IDG) as directed by manager. Participates in the IDG process outside of scheduled meetings by collaborating via email with other team members.</li>\n\t<li>Provides ongoing education to clinical staff regarding indications for massage therapy and potential benefits.</li>\n\t<li>Completes bi-weekly time sheets and monthly productivity reports/board updates.</li>\n\t<li>Participates in departmental projects and programs as directed by manager.</li>\n\t<li>Utilizes Microsoft Word and Excel programs for creating and managing documents, and maintains email communication via Outlook.</li>\n\t<li>Provides regular massage therapy visits to patients in caseload, creating and implementing appropriate massage interventions for these visits.</li>\n\t<li>Clock-in occurs at the first visit of the day. Otherwise, arrive to the office at 8:30 for clock-in using the time clock in the Lyons Building staff lounge or Georgeson Hospice House. Last clock-out of the day occurs at last visit following completion of documentation and synch of device.</li>\n\t<li>Meets productivity expectations as set by the organization.</li>\n\t<li>Collaborate and train HHA on hand massage</li>\n\t<li>Coordinate trainings and education on Aroma Therapy.
