We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family.   </li>\n</ul>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for providing individual, couple, family and group services to meet patient and their family/significant others’ social and emotional needs.</li>\n <li>Completes case management and documentation tasks in a competent manner, within established timelines. </li>\n <li>Maintains discipline specific professional and ethical standards. </li>\n <li>Provides a systems approach to address patient needs. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations. </li>\n <li>Processes referrals in a prompt, thorough manner. </li>\n <li>Interviews patients, families, and community agencies representatives to obtain a comprehensive mental health evaluation and makes appropriate treatment recommendations. </li>\n <li>Works cooperatively with referral agencies in coordinating services. </li>\n <li>Facilitate support groups for behavioral health as needed. </li>\n <li>Provides crisis intervention services and behavior management training as needed. </li>\n <li>Exercise independent judgment in diagnostic assessment and treatment planning. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. </li>\n <li>Maintains established productivity and patient care standards. </li>\n <li>Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, Safety and Risk Management guidelines. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by Clinic Administrator to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Counseling from an accredited school Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the appropriate state to practice </li>\n <li>Iowa RCP license </li>\n <li>RRT credentials </li>\n <li>ACLS Mandatory Reporter certification. </li>\n <li>A minimum of two years previous counseling experience in Behavioral Health. </li>\n <li>Good communication skills, Knowledge and experience in good interviewing techniques. </li>\n <li>Ability to understand medical terminology and communicate effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds, age, disabilities, and education levels required. </li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively with people of diverse professional, educations, and lifestyle backgrounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>.</p>",
