This is a year-round, hands-on skilled trade position supporting park operations and guest safety. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Signing Bonus Available!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position begins at $23.00</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Free admission to Darien Lake and other Six Flags locations</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, repair, and maintain:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Water supply systems</li>\n   <li>Drainage and wastewater systems</li>\n   <li>Pipes, fixtures, and plumbing equipment </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance on:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Water rides</li>\n   <li>Boilers, sinks, bathrooms, drains</li>\n   <li>Grease traps, lift stations, and gas systems </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Diagnose and fix issues:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Leaks, clogs, pressure problems</li>\n   <li>Pipe damage and system failures</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Use tools and techniques such as:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Cutting, threading, bending, and welding pipes</li>\n   <li>Working with materials like steel, plastic, and brass </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Read and interpret:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Blueprints</li>\n   <li>Schematics and technical manuals</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Maintain inventory and order parts when needed</li>\n <li>Ensure all work meets:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Plumbing codes</li>\n   <li>Health and safety regulations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Keep work areas clean and safe</li>\n <li>Interact with:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Staff, supervisors, vendors, and sometimes park guests</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Requirements / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>2–4+ years of plumbing experience</strong> (Journeyman-level preferred) </li>\n <li>Knowledge of:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Plumbing codes</li>\n   <li>Fire systems and water systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Read blueprints and technical documents</li>\n   <li>Troubleshoot and solve problems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Valid driver’s license</strong></li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Conditions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Full-time, often <strong>40+ hours per week during peak season</strong></li>\n <li>Must be available for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Nights</li>\n   <li>Weekends</li>\n   <li>Holidays </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Outdoor and indoor work across the park</li>\n <li>Physically demanding (lifting, bending, working in tight spaces)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
