This role includes providing exemplary customer service and satisfaction.</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitized previous night.</li><li>Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.</li><li>Brings cases of meat from cooler and empties contents onto meat cutting or other preparation area.</li><li>Cuts and trims meat to Three Bears specification using band saw and knives.</li><li>Operates tenderizing machine.</li><li>Follows safety and security procedures.</li><li>Operates meat grinder.</li><li>Dumps meat into top of machine and checks fat content of each batch from grinder.</li><li>Follows proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished product.</li><li>Transfers cut and grounds meat to styro trays.</li><li>Loads styro trays onto large plastic tray and transfers to large wheeled rack for wrappers. Assists with</li><li>wrapping.</li><li>Assists with stocking meat case according to Meat PIC&rsquo;s plan for product presentation and</li><li>merchandising.</li><li>Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.</li><li>Performs duties to comply with health code, such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures.</li><li>Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment, and implements.</li><li>Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service.</li><li>Assists with front end duties as necessary.</li><li>Assists in other departments of the store as necessary.</li><li>Operate manual pallet jack, wheeled carts, trash compactor, cardboard baler, product marking gun, shrink wrap machine, wrench, screwdriver, pliers, box knife, trim knife, tenderizer, grinder, slicer, wrapping machine, pressure washer.</li><li>Occasionally operate cash register, handheld scanners, computer, fax machine, phone, printer.</li><li>Performs other functions as necessary or assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience/Education:</strong></p><ul><li>A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.</li><li>Food Handling Certification as required by local government.</li></ul><p><strong>Company Description</strong></p><p>Three Bears Alaska is a family-owned chain of Alaskan grocery stores with so much more.
