This position supports inventory management, storage, and shipment of biological specimens and materials. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in biorepository operations and eager to learn technical processes in a regulated environment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join ATCC and be part of a team that supports the global scientific community with trusted, authenticated biological materials.</p>\n<h2><u>Responsibilities</u></h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Inventory & Storage:</strong> Maintain organized storage systems, monitor temperature-controlled environments, and ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems.</li>\n <li><strong>Sample Processing:</strong> Perform supervised laboratory tasks such as aliquoting, nucleic acid extraction, and blood fractionation following SOPs.</li>\n <li><strong>Shipping & Receiving:</strong> Process incoming shipments, replenish inventory, and prepare samples for outbound orders while adhering to safety protocols.</li>\n <li><strong>Quality & Compliance:</strong> Document system alerts, report deviations, and follow proper handling procedures for hazardous materials.</li>\n <li><strong>Operational Support:</strong> Assist with customer inquiries, share observations for process improvements, and respond to after-hour emergencies as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><u>Qualifications</u></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma and 0–1 years’ experience or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>Repository, shipping, warehouse or inventory experience highly preferred.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and biorepository best practices.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with MS Office Suite tools including Outlook, Excel and Teams, preferred.  </li>\n <li>Ability to handle heavy materials safely and follow strict safety protocols.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn technical processes.</li>\n <li>Core competencies: adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, and reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><u>Benefits</u></h2>\n<p>The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
