    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Gibbon Packing, LLC</strong> an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a<strong> Cattle Driver </strong>at our Gibbon, NE plant. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As <strong>Cattle Driver</strong>, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Receive and weigh cattle</li>\n <li>All cattle must be inspected by I.I.C. (Inspector in charge)</li>\n <li>Move to pen</li>\n <li>Move cattle from pens to chute</li>\n <li>Check water in pens and feed if necessary</li>\n <li>Move cattle through the chute into the restrainer.</li>\n <li>Wash cattle.</li>\n <li>Write information down for each new lot.</li>\n <li>Cattle must be handled at normal speed to avoid stress.</li>\n <li>Use of electrical prods will be limited.</li>\n <li>Use of rattle paddles or flags is acceptable.</li>\n <li>Move animals quietly. Soft whistling and “yup” recommended.</li>\n <li>NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n <li><p>Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations. </p></li>\n <li>Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required. Start times and hours vary based on production needs.</li>\n <li>Must be able to successfully complete training:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Safety.</li>\n   <li>Safe Quality Food (SQF).</li>\n   <li>Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). </li>\n   <li>Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).</li>\n   <li>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li>\n   <li>Food defense.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior harvest experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork or poultry facility.</li>\n <li>Prior production experience.</li>\n <li>Work history in the last 12 months.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong> All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
