    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>An Electrician 1 is responsible for conducting safety meetings and accident investigations, performing installations and repairs of electrical systems, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform safety meetings and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct accident reporting and post-accident investigations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Install and run cable trays and cables </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Install cable glands and work with transit systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Install conduit and seals </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Terminate power and control wiring under supervision </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize multi-meter for electrical diagnostics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete all required paperwork as defined by management </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work alongside technicians, fitters, and helpers to install and repair safety systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Read and interpret schematics </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Requisition materials and coordinate with clients </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare proper JSAs for assigned tasks </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate crew changes with the project manager </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work at heights with fall protection gear and from ladders or scaffolding </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Handle small toolboxes or tool belts while installing and repairing equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Use hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, socket sets, drills, and cutting devices </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of offshore and/or land I&E experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid TWIC card </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stooping </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record </li>\n</ul>",
