Your ability to lead dealers, enforce gaming regulations, and provide exceptional guest service helps create a safe, fair, and engaging environment for every player. Through strong decision‑making, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding Live! Casino & Hotel’s high service standards, you help protect company assets, resolve guest concerns, and maintain the professional atmosphere that keeps players returning.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness</li>\n <li>Controlling cards and equipment</li>\n <li>Responsible for the supervision and performance of  the poker dealers </li>\n <li>Development of staff, evaluating, hiring and training</li>\n <li>Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring with reviewing and managing the department’s promotions and tournaments</li>\n <li>Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker</li>\n <li>Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competition</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service</li>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results</li>\n <li>Ability to solve complex problems</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of specified games and gaming regulations</li>\n <li>Ability to add monies and chips</li>\n <li>Good public relations/guest service skills</li>\n <li>Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment</li>\n <li>Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms</li>\n <li>Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions</li>\n <li>Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls</li>\n <li>Complete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property. </li>\n <li>Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills </li>\n <li>Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operations</li>\n <li>Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel</li>\n <li>Oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the performance of the table games</li>\n <li>Obtainment of departmental budget and goals</li>\n <li>Effective managing of the staff</li>\n <li>Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paperwork, and reports</li>\n <li>Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Technical school education in dealing specified games</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to carry a tray.</li>\n <li>High volume, 24, hour liquor and beverage service.</li>\n <li>Loud, high-energy work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
