Directly or indirectly, you'll have exposure to cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking medical research.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide exceptional care to patients in the general surgery unit during overnight shifts, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>General Surgery Nocturnist.  </li>\n <li>APP would float between vascular and GI services – working on inpatient non-ICU floors. </li>\n <li>Nightshift (5p-6a shifts)  Monday-Friday </li>\n <li>Looking for someone that can work 2-3 shifts per week. </li>\n <li>No on-call or weekends. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Payrate- $80-100</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Conduct comprehensive assessments of general surgery patients,</p>\n<p>including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic</p>\n<p>evaluations.</p>\n<p>Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.</p>\n<p>Provide advanced clinical care, including post-operative management, wound care, and other necessary procedures.</p>\n<p>Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient response.</p>\n<p>Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support as needed. Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, postoperative care, and discharge instructions.</p>\n<p>Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge and follow-up.</p>\n<p>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.</p>\n<p>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS & ACLS required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in general surgery</li>\n <li>EPIC </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
