If you aspire to be the best, and work with the best, this is where you belong.</p>\n<h2>About the Role</h2>\n<p>The Specialist - Sponsorships, US is an integral part of Latham’s Events, Sponsorships, and Travel (EST) team. This role will be responsible for coordinating a high volume of conference and trade organization sponsorships, while also supporting global sponsorship initiatives as needed. This role will be located in either our <strong>Chicago</strong>, <strong>New York</strong>, or <strong>Houston</strong> office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Other key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proactively coordinating various aspects of the sponsorship lifecycle, including vetting the opportunity, negotiating benefits package, planning meetings, checklists, budget tracking, expense processing, vendor management, data management, and post-sponsorship analysis</li>\n <li>Working with key stakeholders to define objectives and thoughtfully map out sponsorship participation accordingly</li>\n <li>Attending key sponsorships to evaluate branding opportunities and/or manage setup</li>\n <li>Attending department meetings and specified practice or industry group meetings to gain a working knowledge of subject matter basics </li>\n <li>Continuously staying abreast of sponsorship team best practices as well as market and industry trends</li>\n <li>Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains </li>\n</ul>\n<p>We’d love to hear from you if you:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess knowledge of event management and CRM systems</li>\n <li>Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels</li>\n <li>Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer-service focus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>And have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree or equivalent </li>\n <li>A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an events, partnership or sponsorship management, conference organization, business development, or marketing role in a professional services environment </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits & Additional Information</h2>\n<p>Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
