SENIOR MANAGER, GLOBAL LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a harmonized and highly competitive Supply Chain and distribution network Optimize total cost of ownership to drive attainment of delivery, cost, revenue, and inventory targets Lead transportation sourcing process to leverage the global and regional spend to achieve competitive rates, drive efficiencies, and reduce costs Manage logistics, warehousing, and transportation of critical materials in all locations Develop and maintain accurate forecast models for freight, duty, warehousing, etc. Support safe launch plans and product transfers Lead the budget process for freight, duty, warehousing, and other logistics costs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BSc  Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Business, or related discipline 8+ years of experience of relevant Supply Chain, international logistics and transportation for production in the Automotive industry Multi-site global or regional experience leading a global team Comprehensive data analytics to identify trends and insights to make informed decisions Profound knowledge ERP systems including warehouse modules, technical application experience with SAP preferred Business fluent English communication skills Strong business acumen,  curious, self-motivated and willing to travel as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA is a plus APICS Certification and/or CPIM or CPM or equivalent international certifications preferred Language spoken, other than English, is considered a plus NICE TO KNOW We specifically pay attention and support your development, You can work with the latest technologies as part of our international team, Annual bonus, cafeteria, housing/travel allowance, Health screenings, sports support, discounted canteen, Exciting corporate events Gentherm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
