    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking motivated <strong>Aircraft Mechanic Helpers</strong> to assist in the execution of F-22 Wash and Corrosion Control services at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. This entry-level role provides essential support to senior mechanics and is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a highly specialized aircraft maintenance environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist Aircraft Mechanic III personnel during F-22 wash, lubrication, and corrosion control operations.</li><li>Prepare aircraft for servicing by installing protective covers, taping seams, and masking sensitive areas.</li><li>Perform routine cleaning and washing tasks using TO-approved cleaning compounds.</li><li>Provide ground support during towing operations, including serving as wing/tail walkers.</li><li>Handle tools, materials, and equipment in support of senior mechanics.</li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas while following FOD/DOP requirements.</li><li>Document assistance tasks and ensure compliance with safety and quality control requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of general mechanical, maintenance, or related work preferred.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team.</li><li>Must be able to pass a federal background check</li><li>Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Desire to grow within the aircraft maintenance career field.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>About D2 Government Solutions</strong></p><p>D2GS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
