BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.</p><p>BR+A is seeking candidates for a Technology Systems Designer position at our Boston, MA office. This position&rsquo;s responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Provide Engineering, Design work and drafting of plans&nbsp;</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Implementation of approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plans&nbsp;</li><li>Sketches, rough layouts to review with project engineer or Project Manager&nbsp;</li><li>Reviews product cut sheets and technical information&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problems&nbsp;</li><li>Meet with vendors to determine spatial requirements for application of the product&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinates with other disciplines and the architect&nbsp;</li><li>Attend meetings as required, work to submit the required documentation per project deadlines&nbsp;</li><li>Attend in-house coordination meetings when appropriate&nbsp;</li><li>Develop strategy to meet project schedule&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)&nbsp;</li><li>Assist design team on major design issues&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for organizing required technical correspondence, emails and calculations&nbsp;</li><li>Perform field work and verification of existing conditions&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Required experience and skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering;</li><li>Qualified experience using Autodesk RevIT design software;</li><li>5-10 years of experience designing Information and Communications Technology systems (Data Networks, cDAS, Nurse Call, Electronic Security, Paging, Wireless, etc.).&nbsp;</li></ul><p>BR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter &ndash; and to be part of something bigger.
