As an activities counselor, you assist campers in recreational activities such as sports, nature, the challenge course, arts and crafts, swimming, talent night, and making s'mores at campfires.</p><p><br></p><p>Choose your adventure. The upcoming summer camp schedule is below:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Summer Camp Schedule</strong></p><ul><li>Sunday, June 7 through Saturday, June 13, 2026 (Summer Staff Training Week)</li><li>Sunday, June 14 through Saturday, June 20, 2026 (Summer Session 1)</li><li>Sunday, June 21 through Friday, July 3, 2026 (Summer Session 2)</li><li>Sunday, July 5 through Saturday, July 11, 2026 (Summer Session 3)</li><li>Sunday, July 12 through Saturday, July 18, 2026 (Summer Session 4)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Are you a psychology, social work, physical/speech/occupational therapy, nursing, or other related student looking to gain experience working with adolescents and adults with disabilities? Do you need internship hours, practicum hours or hands-on experience for your major? We can help with that!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, and great communication skills</li><li>Must be at least 17 years old</li><li>Compassion, energy, and creativity skills</li><li>Ability to assist in the physical care of our campers including lifting and transferring</li><li>CPR and First Aid are preferred, but training will be provided</li><li>Ability to work as a member of a team</li><li>Being ready and able to work one of the hardest, yet one of the most rewarding, jobs in your life</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Easterseals Florida has been rated a Great Place to Work (2020 – 2025) by our employees!
