Description

Team Lead - Knitting and Assembly Triad Technologies Vandalia, OH APPLY HERE Assists the Manufacturing Supervisor in supporting the requirements of the internal and external customers by the coordination of Assembly and Kit Assembly activities that include schedules, workloads, training, building and assembling product and material, expediting, order follow-up, etc.  This is a full-time position, M-F, 8:00am – 5:00 pm. Ensures manufacturing associates are properly trained and helps monitor staff in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices; Performs expediting duties of inbound and outbound orders to achieve departmental goals; Supervises the transactional activities to achieve hourly performance goals; Provides guidance, support, and direction to other departmental employees; Coordinates the staging of material and part presentation; Interprets and enforces safety regulations (leads by example); Supports and promotes process improvements of the manufacturing operations; Ensures proper documentation of all approved jobs and orders; Communicates and coordinates customer and design specification issues and resolutions; Monitors equipment or processes and communicates problems to Supervisor; Encourages and monitors facility cleanliness and housekeeping initiatives on a daily basis; Assists internal customers to identify requested information; Performs job/order audits and inventory discrepancy resolutions; Performs the job duties of the manufacturing associates as needed. Fulfills back-up duties in the absence of the Manufacturing Supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma (or equivalent) Three to five years of related work experience Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees; Reads and follow written work instructions. Possess strong mathematical skills- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Excellent attention to detail Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds. Possess accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry). To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge. Knowledge of Prophet21 software and other vendor computer systems are preferred. Must have fabrication and circuitry experience Must have own personal tools to use  Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test. Skills required for the job include (can be trained): Industrial Hydraulic Technologies 1 and 2, Hydraulic maintenance technology, pneumatic circuitry, tube bending, and forklift.
