This includes shelf tags, weekly ad pricing, promotional signage, and system updates. The role requires attention to detail, good computer skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure all items are scanned correctly at the register and match shelf and ad pricing</li><li>Maintain pricing integrity by updating pricing files and conducting price checks regularly</li><li>Place shelf tags and signs for regular and promotional items</li><li>Coordinate weekly ad changes, price changes, and promotional signage</li><li>Work with department managers to verify product prices, descriptions, and UPC accuracy</li><li>Investigate and resolve scanning errors or pricing discrepancies</li><li>Perform regular audits of scanned items to ensure accuracy</li><li>Communicate with corporate pricing departments as needed</li><li>Train others on scanning system procedures as necessary</li><li>Ensure compliance with company and regulatory pricing laws</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Prior grocery or retail experience preferred</li><li>Familiarity with scanning systems and POS systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Good math and computer skills</li><li>Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed</li><li>Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Fast-paced retail environment</li><li>Frequent computer use and physical movement throughout the store</li><li>May involve working in multiple temperature zones (e.g., coolers, freezers)</li></ul>",
