We’re looking for a <strong>Senior Platform Engineer</strong> who thrives on designing and evolving resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure across both cloud and on-prem environments. If so, please read on.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure across on-premises data centers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including networking, identity, and resource organization.</li>\n <li>Install, configure, and manage server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization platforms (VMware/ESX/VCF), including lifecycle management, patching, and performance optimization.</li>\n <li>Design, deploy, and operate load-balanced, highly available, and distributed systems, leveraging cloud-native and on-premise technologies.</li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and maintain automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash), integrating with version control and CI/CD pipelines to improve consistency and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Deploy, manage, and support containerized platforms and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), enabling scalable application hosting and modernization initiatives.</li>\n <li>Monitor system performance, availability, and security events using enterprise monitoring and logging tools; respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Implement and maintain networking and security controls, including firewalls, access management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation across hybrid environments.</li>\n <li>Develop, test, and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, ensuring defined RPO/RTO objectives are met, including backup and restoration processes across platforms (e.g., StorOne, Nimble, Pure).</li>\n <li>Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational runbooks to support consistent and reliable operations.</li>\n <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and application teams to deliver platform solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We are looking for a very specific skill set. If you can say yes to each of these requirements, then we want to meet you!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>3–5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.</li>\n <li>Experience with VMware/ESX and enterprise server environments.</li>\n <li>Experience backup recovery and storage </li>\n <li>Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and value others; communicate effectively; and collaborate with others.</li>\n <li>High level of integrity; demonstrated ability to work independently; establishing and meeting performance and Ministry goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for K-LOVE?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>K-LOVE is a nonprofit, multi-platform media company on a mission to draw people closer to Christ.
