You’ll lead initiatives across Fortinet security platforms, Dell and Cisco networking, SD-WAN, and site-to-site connectivity - while contributing to automation, containerization, and scalable Wi-Fi deployments across multiple sites.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires strong hands-on experience with firewalls, dynamic routing, and scripting for network</p>\n<p>automation, along with knowledge of Linux and containers in a production environment. Unleashing Your Potential </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account</li>\n <li>RRSP matching program</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n <li>Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <u></u><strong><u>Primary Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, implement, and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and security policies across distributed sites</li>\n <li>Configure and maintain Dell and Cisco networking hardware (switches, routers, WAPs) across LAN/WAN environments</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation tools for network configuration, monitoring, and reporting</li>\n <li>Support and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP routing between sites and partners</li>\n <li>Deploy and manage secure VPNs for remote access and site-to-site connectivity</li>\n <li>Implement Wi-Fi network designs for multi-site environments, ensuring reliability, coverage, and security</li>\n <li>Manage Wi-Fi controllers, SSID policies, guest access, and wireless performance analytics</li>\n <li>Support Linux-based network services, containerized apps (e.g., Docker), and automation pipelines</li>\n <li>Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for network configurations and reproducibility</li>\n <li>Monitor and respond to network security events and support incident response</li>\n <li>Maintain clear network documentation, diagrams, and change logs</li>\n <li>Travel regularly to support infrastructure at FGF Brands facilities (Ontario and beyond)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u> </u></strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Required Experience</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and security roles</li>\n <li>Strong experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and security appliances</li>\n <li>Proficient with Cisco and Dell switch/router configurations (CLI required)</li>\n <li>Deep understanding of OSPF, BGP, and dynamic routing behavior in enterprise networks</li>\n <li>Experience with Python for automation, scripting, or network management APIs</li>\n <li>Solid Linux experience (Ubuntu/RHEL-based) and basic shell scripting</li>\n <li>Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes basics)</li>\n <li>Experience designing and configuring Wi-Fi networks (multi-site, controller-based, and WPA2/3 policies)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NAT, ACLs, VLAN segmentation, and Layer 3 firewalling</li>\n <li>Experience with SD-WAN, preferably Fortinet Secure SD-WAN</li>\n <li>Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP, or CompTIA Network+/Security+ are strong assets</li>\n <li>Strong documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Must be able and willing to travel between sites as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Core Competencies</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Customer and Product Centricity -</strong> Responds to the needs of both internal and external customers in a timely and courteous manner, showing a sense of urgency; always keeping our products front and centre.</li>\n <li><strong>Flexibility, Agility, Adaptability -</strong> Adapts to changes; changes strategy in response to new information; responds appropriately and quickly without having all parameters defined; demonstrate tolerance for speed and uncertainty.</li>\n <li><strong>Team Work and Collaboration -</strong> Uses appropriate interpersonal styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance of a plan or activity.
