    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a <strong>Cloud Solution Architect</strong>, you will lead the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions while ensuring alignment between architecture and execution. This role combines strong technical expertise with delivery ownership, requiring the ability to define solution architectures, guide implementation, and support project execution across complex initiatives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will serve as a key technical leader, working closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.</p>\n<h2>Contributions</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the design and development of cloud solution architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance</li>\n <li>Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs and architectural diagrams</li>\n <li>Partner with Technical Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure alignment between architecture and execution</li>\n <li>Participate in and support project planning, estimation, and delivery strategy, ensuring architectural considerations are reflected</li>\n <li>Guide engineering teams through implementation, providing clarity on architecture, integrations, and technical direction</li>\n <li>Review and validate technical deliverables to ensure adherence to architectural standards and design intent</li>\n <li>Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs throughout the delivery lifecycle</li>\n <li>Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning from a technical perspective</li>\n <li>Facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders, translating complex architecture into actionable insights</li>\n <li>Ensure solutions align with cloud best practices, including security, networking, and cost optimization</li>\n <li>Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members across engineering and delivery functions</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field  </li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, solution architecture, or related technical roles</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience designing and delivering cloud-based architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP</li>\n <li>Strong ability to create, review, and interpret architectural diagrams and system designs</li>\n <li>Experience translating requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures</li>\n <li>Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making</li>\n <li>Experience supporting or contributing to project delivery activities, including planning, estimation, and execution</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including networking, security, identity, and high availability</li>\n <li>Experience identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and constraints</li>\n <li>Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams through implementation</li>\n <li>Located in the Atlanta, GA metro area<strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience serving in a technical lead or delivery leadership role across complex projects</li>\n <li>Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)</li>\n <li>Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives</li>\n <li>Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines</li>\n <li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)</li>\n <li>Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>\n <li>PMP, PMI-ACP, or experience working closely with project/program management functions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<h2>About <strong>steampunk</strong></h2>\n<p>Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $215,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position. Annual salary is just one aspect of Steampunk’s total compensation package for employees.
