Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>I2X Technologies is seeking a<strong> Stress Analyst</strong> to support ongoing activities for a customer in<strong> Littleton, CO, Houston, TX or possibility for remote. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform finite element and classical stress analysis of the Structures and Mechanisms. </li>\n <li>Create Stress Analysis Models of the Mechanisms and incorporate in to existing system finite element models.</li>\n <li>Modify existing finite element models as necessary to evaluate the Mechanisms.</li>\n <li>Support stress analysis assessments to rapidly guide design maturation of the Structures and  Mechanisms.</li>\n <li>Perform preliminary and final analyses, part sizing, fatigue/fracture assessment, drawing coordination and sign-off, test support and correlation, analyses presentations, and documentation of analyses for deliverable stress and fracture reports.</li>\n <li>Derive and apply load cases and develop resulting stress analysis</li>\n <li>Link models and execute analysis on subsystem and system level elements</li>\n <li>Iterative analysis with design to achieve high performance/ low mass designs</li>\n <li>Perform Mass opportunity assessments and support long lead hardware implementation. </li>\n <li>Models shall meet modeling standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>9+ years of relevant stress analysis experience</li>\n <li>Bachelors Degree</li>\n <li>Experience performing stress analysis on spacecrafts</li>\n <li>Experience with NASTRAN/FEMAP</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>US Citizenship is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed . May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds.
