Large independent group practice with full ancillary testing on-site, internal medicine subspecialty colleagues, and dedicated hospitalist team.  EPIC EMR.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Competitive base salary with bonus structure and benefits.  Opportunity for advancing to an ownership/equity position. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">24/7 hospitalist coverage.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">A.                Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">1.      Responsible for providing medical services in the general care and treatment of patients in the Clinic and at the hospital(s); diagnoses and treats illnesses or diseases of the patients; instructs patients in their proper care and treatment alternatives; instructs staff as needed; informs and educates the patients; provides appropriate emotional support; makes referrals for specialized treatment; follows up on progress.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">2.      Responsible for seeing any patient presented to the doctor through Clinic’s “central scheduling/patient distribution” coordinator, through any Partner-physician, or at any time while on call for another Clinic physician.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">B.                 Standards</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">1.      Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">2.      Demonstrates excellent interpretive skills of test results.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">3.      Demonstrates excellent procedural skills and appropriate use of procedures and testing.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">4.      Understands and is responsive to patients’ needs and concerns.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">5.      Interacts with patients in a caring, sensitive manner.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">6.      Receives minimal number of patient complaints.  Receives positive patient satisfaction surveys.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">7.      Demonstrates excellent diagnostic skills and identifies relevant medical issues accurately.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>C.                  Education and Experience</p>\n<p>1.      Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine, U.S. residency trained.</p>\n<p>2.      Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.</p>\n<p>3.      Board certified in internal medicine and in area of specialty, if applicable, (must be board certified/eligible upon date of hire and must become board certified within first twelve months of employment).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
