Route Delivery Driver – NYC Routes

As a Route Driver – New York City Area, you’ll be the face of our company—delivering crisp uniforms, linens, and supplies to some of New York City’s top restaurants, hotels, and businesses. Your day will start and end in Clifton, NJ. New Payrate of 25$ starting with multiple increases during the first year. What your day looks like: - Take the wheel of a box truck and navigate NYC - Haul, lift, and deliver products through tight corners and busy sidewalks - Keep customers happy and the route running like clockwork It’s not a desk job—it’s a boots-on-the-ground, lift-and-hustle kind of role. This role is best suited for drivers who are confident handling box trucks in high-traffic, urban environments. If you’ve already driven in NYC, you’ll feel right at home. What You'll Do Operate a company box truck from Clifton, NJ into New York City to complete scheduled daily service routes Deliver, collect, and accurately manage uniforms, linens, and facility service products at customer locations Provide outstanding customer service and professionally represent Dempsey during every customer interaction Perform the physical requirements of the role, including frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of products weighing 50–75 lbs throughout the workday Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while ensuring the truck remains clean, safe, and well-maintained What We're Looking For Previous experience operating box trucks in New York City is strongly preferred Experience managing New Jersey delivery routes and navigating NYC traffic is a plus Must reside in New Jersey within a reasonable commuting distance to Clifton, NJ, where routes begin and end daily Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required (CDL not required) Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional and dependable attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment What We Offer Competitive weekly pay (starting at $25/hour with multiple increases during first year) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth in a stable, family-owned company
