Based out of the corporate office in Aliso Viejo, CA, this hybrid opportunity offers broad exposure across Finance and executive leadership while helping shape scalable reporting processes.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Financial Reporting</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings disclosures, MD&amp;A, and financial statement footnotes&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal accounting policies&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Partner cross-functionally with Legal, FP&amp;A, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Tax to support accurate and consistent external reporting&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support quarterly earnings processes, audit deliverables, and equity administration activities&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Technical Accounting</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the technical accounting subject matter expert across complex accounting areas including ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 805, debt, equity, and other non-routine transactions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Research, interpret, and document accounting guidance and technical accounting conclusions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos, policies, and procedures&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Evaluate and implement new accounting standards and assess impact to financial statements and disclosures&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Audit, SOX &amp; Controls</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as a primary liaison with external auditors on financial reporting and technical accounting matters&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support SOX 404 compliance activities, including internal controls documentation and reporting-related evaluations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure alignment between technical accounting positions, internal reporting, and external disclosures&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Leadership &amp; Collaboration</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to accounting team members&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Partner cross-functionally on strategic initiatives including M&amp;A transactions and post-acquisition integration&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and compliance&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>How Will You Get Here?</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting and public-company experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance&nbsp;</li>\n <li>CPA required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong technical accounting expertise with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proven experience preparing SEC filings and partnering with external auditors&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience supporting M&amp;A transactions, complex equity arrangements, and regulated industries preferred&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prior leadership or people management experience preferred&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls preferred&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#GKOSUS</p>",
