This senior-level role combines hands-on automotive/mechatronics expertise, hardware integration, diagnostics, and technical leadership.<br>You will work closely with engineering, operations, and field testing teams to install and troubleshoot autonomous vehicle hardware, sensors, computing modules, and electrical systems while mentoring technicians and ensuring high-quality builds.<br>This role is ideal for a senior automotive technician, robotics technician, AV technician, or mechatronics specialist who thrives in fast-paced testing environments and complex vehicle system integrations.<br><br><strong>Key</strong> <strong>Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Lead installation, assembly, and integration of complex hardware systems including autonomous vehicle sensors, compute units, wiring harnesses, connectors, and electronic modules</li><li>Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and system-integration components on vehicle and robotic platforms</li><li>Support autonomous vehicle testing, field deployments, and validation activities</li><li>Execute and oversee preventative maintenance, retrofits, upgrades, and system calibration to ensure reliability and uptime</li><li>Provide technical leadership and on-site troubleshooting during vehicle testing operations</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams to improve hardware designs, build processes, and test workflows</li><li>Maintain technical documentation, inventory management, and tool tracking</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures</li><li>Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices, diagnostics, and integration processes</li></ul><br><strong>Required</strong> <strong>Qualifications (Mush have)</strong><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive service, robotics integration, autonomous vehicle operations, or mechatronics systems</li><li>Strong expertise with mechanical systems, electrical systems, vehicle electronics, and diagnostic tools</li><li>Experience reading and interpreting technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation</li><li>Proficiency working with AC/DC electrical systems, sensors, connectors, control modules, and wiring harnesses</li><li>Advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across integrated vehicle systems</li><li>Experience leading, mentoring, or training technicians in a technical environment</li><li>Valid driver’s license and ability to support local field deployments</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in garage, warehouse, and outdoor testing environments</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred</strong> <strong>Qualifications (Nice to have)</strong><ul><li>Experience with autonomous vehicles (AV), robotics platforms, ADAS systems, or electric vehicles (EV)</li><li>Background in sensor integration (LiDAR, radar, cameras), compute platforms, or vehicle data systems</li><li>Experience with soldering, crimping, wiring harness fabrication, and hardware prototyping</li><li>Familiarity with vehicle testing, data collection, calibration workflows, or validation operations</li></ul><br><strong>How</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Apply</strong> <br>Submit your updated CV and complete the screening questions.
