The student worker will gather, organize, and synthesize information on state-level academy standards to assist faculty in determining appropriate credit equivalencies.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct Internet-based research on police academy standards in each state.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collect and organize information to support credit evaluation.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compile data into clear and usable formats for faculty review.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and document governing bodies, primary contacts (name, phone, email, title), links to academy curricula, and any other pertinent data.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong Internet research skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to interpret and compile information from state government sources.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">No physical labor involved.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>How This Position Will Benefit You as a Student</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position provides the student worker with hands-on research and data organization experience while building transferable skills in policy analysis, spreadsheet development, and professional documentation.
