We partner with builders and contractors to ensure precision, safety, and a finished product that enhances every home. Summit combines field expertise with strong customer relationships to serve residential markets with reliability and consistency.</p><hr><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Where You Come In</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Quality Control / Safety role is responsible for overseeing stair production quality and ensuring every staircase meets Summit&rsquo;s standards before leaving the shop. This role works closely with stair builders to maintain craftsmanship, accuracy, safety compliance, and production consistency while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.</p><hr><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support stair builders throughout the fabrication process</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect completed stair systems before shipment to ensure quality, accuracy, and code compliance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Verify measurements, layout, assembly, and finish quality of stair components</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to confirm production accuracy</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify workmanship issues and coordinate corrections before product release</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure all stair systems meet company quality standards and local building code requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor shop safety practices and reinforce safe operation of tools and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct routine safety checks and promote proper PPE usage throughout the facility</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain organized inspection records and communicate quality concerns with production leadership</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with process improvements to increase consistency, efficiency, and product reliability</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead weekly safety meetings and necessary documentation.</li></ul><hr><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Bring</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in stair building, millwork, woodworking, or related construction trades</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Leadership ability with experience supervising or mentoring production employees</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of safety procedures, OSHA standards, and shop best practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift 50+ lbs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma preferred.</li></ul><hr><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Pay &amp; Schedule</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Full-time position</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monday through Friday 7 am-3:30 pm, with occasional overtime</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compensation based on experience and qualifications</li></ul><hr><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Why MBP Group?</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As part of the MBP Group family, you will be connected to a broader network of specialty building businesses serving residential and commercial markets nationwide.
