Description

Overview Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Technician whose prime responsibility is to assist the regional environmental field services department in environmental testing and reporting at project sites. Pay: $20-28/Hr DOE Responsibilities Execute testing procedures on customer supplied test samples per standard operating procedures and training procedures Program and operate vibration controllers and electro dynamic vibration systems (various models) Assist customers with mounting test specimen and fixtures Evaluate and characterize fixtures for vibration tests Accurately complete technical reports, test results, and all other required documentation Execute tests in compliance with quality and safety systems Coordinate with department leaders and engineers to maintain testing efficiency. Support the department manager in identifying and eliminating workflow / schedule bottlenecks Establish and oversee a regular maintenance schedule for all electro dynamic vibration systems and associated equipment Conduct various testing per various test standards prescribed by customers. Skills / Qualifications Science Graduate or higher qualification is recommended but not needed. Physical fitness and ability to withstand the challenging working conditions presented by the climbing of stacks and handling heavy industrial Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions Self-motivated team playing with excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to embrace new skills and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite Must be technically inclined/ hands-on capable Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
