The company develops Specs, advanced eyewear that seamlessly integrates digital experiences into the physical world.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Specs feature see-through lenses that place digital objects directly into three-dimensional space, powered by Snap OS, a proprietary, context-aware operating system designed for natural interaction with your hands and voice.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Specs Inc. also provides Lens Studio, a full suite of advanced developer tools that powers immersive augmented reality experiences across Specs, Snapchat, and other services.</span></p><p></p><p><span><span>We’re looking for a Desense Engineer to join the Spectacles team!</span></span></p><p></p><p><span><span>What you’ll do:</span></span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and implement innovative RF desense solutions (hardware and software) to ensure robust system performance</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate RF systems into Spectacles products and ensure compliance with performance standards</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Conduct rigorous lab and OTA testing of RF systems, perform sensitivity and coexistence testing (LTE, 5G, WiFi, GNSS, Bluetooth, etc.), and validate performance against industry standards</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Characterize desense caused by internal aggressors (CPU, memory, power converters, displays, etc.) and external interferers.  Trace root causes using probes, shielding tests, grounding checks, and layout reviews</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Identify system performance bottlenecks (impacts) due to antenna, RF board, assembly dependencies, multi-radio operation, etc.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop and execute coexistence test plans and generate validation reports</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Author clear and comprehensive documentation</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Strong RF, antenna, EMI, EMC, and coexistence engineering fundamentals</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of wireless communication standards including WiFi, BT, BLE, GPS, 4G LTE, 5G, etc </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of board level design strategies for desense and EMI minimization, signal integrity, and isolation.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience working with systems that include high-speed digital interfaces such as MIPI CSI / DSI, PCIe, SDIO / eMMC, UFS, etc</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proven ability to use common RF and electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power supplies</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Understanding of RF PCB design, associated constraints, impedance matching, and filter tuning</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proficiency with RF simulation/design tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS, XFdtd, etc.)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Excellent process development and documentation skills</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Minimum Qualifications: </span></span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or physics or equivalent years of experience</span></span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to travel including domestic and international (up to 15%)</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>10&#43; years of experience in electrical, RF, and/or computer engineering</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></span></p><p></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Master’s or PhD in Wireless, Electromagnetics, Electrical engineering or related field </span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of ESD principles for consumer electronics</span></span></p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some </span><a href=\"https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV7t31iR3yYR9ztGDHJpbvL63svWpb6s0afkBkLEjGnDx4Kg/viewform\" target=\"_blank\"><u>information</u></a>.</p><p></p><p><span>&#34;Default Together&#34; Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
