Description Wood is recruiting for a Field E&I Designer to join its Oil, Gas & New Energies (OGNE) business in the Midland, TX area and field locations. This role will focus on supporting brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking projects in the Electrical & Instrumentation discipline. Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Permian Basin area candidates strongly preferred, as no per diem or relocation are available for this role. No outside agencies. MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE! #LI-Onsite As an E&I Designer, you will be responsible for producing facility designs and layouts with knowledge of structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment systems. You will perform design tasks for purchasing and construction-level drawings, create reliable CAD models with precision, and develop and improve department practices/standards.
